Employing the ancient technique of pottery, each piece is named after a volcano. Bowls, vases, and soliflores, the colors evoke Mexico or Nestor Perkal’s native Argentina. This production brings a new perspective to ceramics by combining two skills: the practice of wheel throwing and mastery of architecture. Geometry, which reflects thirty years of artistic research, is a hallmark of the designer. In this very personal project, Nestor Perkal presents here the first writings of an ode to the earth, both a manifesto of his art and an affirmation of a perpetually renewing creative drive.
